Grades K - 2nd , Fall Season

The Hillsborough Jr Raiders K-2nd flag football league is broken down into 2 leagues.  The rookie league which is comprised of children entering Kindergarten and the veteran league which is comprised of children entering the grades  1^st and 2^nd.

 

This is our feeder program for the Jr Raiders tackle football program.

 

The players are there to have a fun and educational football experience.  Parents, working with the coaches, will help us accomplish our goals and objectives. There are four basic goals for our flag program:

1. Teach the players how to have fun playing football.
2. Teach the players basic football terminology and skills.
3. Teach the players sportsmanship and fair play.
4. Teach the players to have fun in a competitive environment.

Win/loss records are not kept and there are no playoffs at this level.  Your coaches may elect to play in a conference wide Jamboree at the end of the season

Games are held on Saturday mornings at the Hillsborough Youth Football Complex on Triangle road.  They begin in September and continue through early November.  Practices begin August 15th and are held at the Hillsborough Youth Football Complex on Triangle road.
